Sunday, 25th September 2011 - NATD Teacher and Student Lectures and AGM

Professional Members, Students and Guests are all welcome to attend the lectures through the afternoon to enhance and improve their knowledge of dancing. Bring your dance shoes as you will be able to participate and learn some new variations in an afternoon packed with value.

Monday, 10th October 2011 - The Night of 100 Stars

We anticipate the fabulous Night of 100 Stars will be on this date, although in truth this will not be formally announced by the organisers the Ballroom Dancers Federation until some time in Spring 2011. Likely venue will be the Copthorne Hotel, Effingham Park, but we will update this site as soon as we have more information.

Thursday, 13th October 2011 - International Ballroom Dancing Championships at the Royal Albert Hall

As a culmination to days of competitions held outside of London this final day at the Royal Albert Hall will feature the best of amateur and professional dancers in both ballroom and latin american dancing. This competition is open to the world and always provides an incredible spectacle to behold. If past years are anything to go by a stream of Strictly Come Dancing competitors are likely to be in evidence to witness the exceptional high standard on offer.

Competitions in Ballroom and Latin American plus regional qualifiers for Nationwide Medallist of the Year 2012, which will be held in the amazing Empress Ballroom at the Wintergardens in Blackpool.

Sunday, 6th November 2011 - Supadance Southern Counties Trophy Presentation event

The results will be in - who will be crowned the Southern Division Champions for 2011!! All will be revealed today, a fun day with couples competitions for all, team presentations will be made today identifying who has won those coveted titles. Friday, 2nd to Sunday, 4th December 2011 - Supadance League National Finals

This will be your chance to go and claim National Titles and in 2011 we will be off once again to the North, with The Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool as the venue. February 2012 - 18th Camber Sands Dance Festival

Camber Sands Dance Festival. As soon as the dates have been confirmed for next year's 18th festival at Camber Sands, we will confirm them here. Len Goodman's fabulous weekend of Ballroom and Latin-American dance competitions will commence on the Friday evening and conclude on the Sunday evening for those that have won their way through to the Four dance finals for the weekend, one can then stay over and leave on the Monday. A superb weekend with excellent dancing and fun for all the family including fancy dress competitions on the Saturday evening. If you would like to see some of the fun we have had in previous year's have a look at the video created by Lou. Booking forms will be available from Angela for those that wish to go when we receive them in the summer of 2011.

9th, 10th and 11th March 2012 - Move it Dance Exhibition at Olympia

For those who haven't been before this is three days packed full of dance workshops, hosted by top teachers and some of the professionals you see on Strictly, covering all genres of dance creating a super opportunity to sample aspects of dance that you may not have experienced before. You will also find lots of stalls from exhibitors, a chance to try and buy new outfits, shoes etc. The venue is Olympia easily found by train and tube connections, or by road if you really prefer to drive. March/April 2012 - IDTA Nationwide Medallist of the Year 2012.

For all those that have been successful in qualifying as one of the best 12 in your age group in your region, it is your chance to dance for a National Title in both ballroom and latin american dance styles. The competition will be held over two days in the incredible Empress Ballroom in the historic Wintergardens in Blackpool. As soon as more details become available we will post them here.

April 2012 - NATD Adult Medallist Competition at Sackville School, East Grinstead 

For all adults over the age of 16 a super chance to try your hand at competition and see how you fare against adults of similar age and medal grade. Further details will be announced in the new year as soon as we have a programme available.
